Here's our story.
We started out as real estate agents back in South Africa and ended up buying a range of commercial & residential properties as investments. We quickly got to experience all the problems that came with being a property owner/ investor.
Maintenance was often our biggest headache. It was such a struggle to get the right trades person to do what you expected when you expected. We fixed the problem by going down the expensive route and employing our own maintenance staff. Fortunately for a long period the market was growing and we could use these staff as we moved into the development and construction of buildings.
I was privileged enough to meet Phillip and his team as maintenance work had to be done at the home that I am renting. I am please to state that the service received from this company was of a very high standard. Not only were the team very punctual, but polite, professional and work was completed properly and the area left clean and tidy in no time. A while back we moved to New Zealand, leaving the majority of our portfolio back home. Once here we started talking to Auckland property owners about what their experience was like of managing commercial and residential buildings. While a lot of things were different (security for instance – you don't have burglar bars here) the whole issue of finding reliable maintenance services was just the same headache here as we found in South Africa.
So with an intimate knowledge of what it was like to use this service we started this business.

In June 2009, I engaged Auckland Building Maintenance to do maintenance work on my rental property in Browns Bay, Auckland
The maintenance work was extensive and took approximately 2-3 weeks to complete.
During the work I found Phillip and Dennis from Auckland Building Maintenance honest and very pleasant to deal with.
They liaised well with the tenants and ensured minimal impact on them. The work was completed on time and I was charged the agreed price.
In future, if I have similar maintenance work to do on my properties I would be more than happy to engage them again.
